As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton prepared to open diplomatic relations with Myanmar, we pitched a story about University of Dayton music professor Heather MacLachlan’s research on Burmese pop music. She was interviewed for a segment that aired on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and also for a New York Times feature on “girl groups” in Myanmar.
